Polykarbon is a site of an American artist with good tutorials on how to draw manga, plus some insights about life in japan and basic japanese.

Inspired by CLAMP, Neutral is a lively all-girl dojinshi circle publishing various kinds of shoujo manga. What we have in attitude, they have plenty in style.
Tea Tales is a dojinshi circle publishing a 4-monthly original manga magazine with shoujo stories of a sweet kind. Like us, they take their publishing admirably serious.
Cheesecake Studio is a large dojinshi circle that publishes both fan-works and original stories in anthologies. Both shounen and shoujo.
OpenMinded is a well-organised circle with a focus on shonen-ai and yaoi genres. Their stories often contain mildly sexual scenarios.

Tze-Ting, a.k.a. Tyara, is a well-skilled Dutch manga artist, who we occasionally meet at conventions. Her web-manga "Mage!" is particularly worth checking out.
Claire is a well-known artist in the Dutch manga scene. She is the in-house illustrator of Aniway magazine, and does workshops.
Windweaver is a Dutch artist and tutor who also does manga workshops, and offers a manga course in the Netherlands.
Marlon Teunissen is another familiar face in the Dutch manga scene. She self-publishes and is known for her beautiful art.
Robert Dejesus is an american artist with a nice style and a good sense of humour. He's also into anime conventions and dojinshi.

Anime a.k.a. "animecon". Netherlands, every spring. Strict organisation and luxury. We also recommend this one to people from abroad.
Chibicon. Netherlands, every summer. A 1-day anime convention, conveniently located in the centre of the country. Many interesting cosplay events.
Abunai. Netherlands, every autumn. Comparable to animecon but with more socializing. By fans, for fans.
F.A.C.T.S. Belgium, every autumn. Mainly a large merchandise marketplace for Fantasy, Anime, Comics, Toys & Science Fiction. Few events, anime in French.
